After several years constructing custom wood-frame homes in Kitchener-Waterloo, Paul pursued both his Bachelor's and Master's studies in Architectural Science at Ryerson University. During this time, Paul also participated in various studies in Italy, Israel, and Greece, focusing on the preservation, restoration, and conservation of historical buildings.
Between school semesters, Paul continued to work both on-site and in-office in concrete forming, wood framing, landscape construction, deep foundations, shoring, and field engineering for various sites across Canada.
Before joining ERA, Paul worked as junior estimator, project manager, and project coordinator in all sectors of the industry, including residential, institutional, commercial, and industrial development. In his work at ERA, Paul has a keen interest in the aesthetic and technical subtlety required when bringing heritage fabric together with new technology and design.
