James is the recipient of multiple awards including the 2013 USGBC-NJ Student Award. He holds a Masters of Infrastructure Planning and Bachelor of Architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

His work has ranged from high end residential projects to multi-state regional planning projects, following Superstorm Sandy in 2012. James' research on resilient design and public access has been published in multiple books and articles. His broad interests in building and planning allows him to ensure site and neighborhood requirements are acknowledged and project design is cohesive.
