Industrial Seattle Loft
Year: 2015
The apartment layout was organized around the owner's modern living needs. Functional elements are added to the space that blended with the building's original palette of concrete floors, zinc plated pan-decking ceiling, and blackened steel beams and railings. Concrete brick, stainless steel plate and blackened steel were added to harmoniously blend functional additions with the original industrial style of the construction.
Amsterdam Converted Warehouse Loft
This beautiful, industrial style loft was converted from a former warehouse in Jordaan, Amsterdam. It is the home of interior designer and entrepreneur Marius Haverkamp. The house is organized around a patio made of glass and steel, through which natural light diffuses into the house. Features include the original sublime and exposed red brick wall, the open double-height center of the home, highlighted by gorgeous black steel windows & doors. The monumental chandelier in black clay was handmade in Africa, and it sets the tone for the interior decor.

Garage Loft in Amsterdam
This garage loft in Amsterdam is home to Amsterdam designer James van der Velden. He envisioned a home with a masculine, robust style that highlighted visual contrast: mixing old and modern, dark and light, with plenty of textures. Most important, it holds and showcases the many collections he had acquired over the years. Some features include armchairs that are vintage finds that van der Velden reupholstered. Meanwhile, vintage suitcases are stacked atop one another to form a side table in the living room.
Chelsea Loft
This 87 sq meter loft in Chelsea, New York is the second home of Brazilian artist Hussein Jarouche. Jarouche is the owner of Micasa, a furniture and object store in Sao Paulo, hence the eclectic aesthetic of the loft. The loft is decorated with unique finds - such as the patchwork on the ceiling formed from the old plates of brass lamps, the 12 antique pendant lamps suspended over the kitchen bar, the cool shelving system—left rusted on purpose—or the taxidermy elk, deer, fox and bear heads above his single bed.
