If you're inspired by the medieval cityscapes of Game of Thrones or The Hobbit, see how architects are bringing Middle-earth to life using Kaynemaile.
Kaynemaile - Meshing Tradition with Technology
Kaynemaile was invented by art director Kayne Horsham in Wellington, New Zealand. The seamless polycarbonate mesh is officially recognized as KML22, and is used in design, architectural, and lighting sectors for facades, curtains, and designer lighting.

Interior Spaces
When used for interiors, Kaynemaile creates spacial freshness and visual transition. It is particularly interesting to see how mesh can be paired with flora, generating tension between hard and soft materials.
Lighting Effects
Kaynemaile recreates the look-and-feel of medieval chainmail, replacing bulky steel with a more durable and eco-friendly recycled poly carbonate. When used with lighting fixtures, Kaynemaile generates enclosed glowing areas that suggest permanency.
