Designed as a weekend getaway house, this single story house boasts international style principles employed by the famous architect, Mies Van Der Rohe.
Structure was of fundamental importance to this style where concrete and steel frames allowed facades that were once load bearing to become more like curtains of a building. This allowed for a glass facade with an open-plan with minimal approach to both interiors and construction details, especially the famous steel connections Mies masterfully designed and engineered.
