Hawkeye cabin one of the two guest cabins located on the property of Camp Uncas. American financier J.P. Morgan used the retreat as his vacation residence up until the 1940's. Hawkeye, as well as the other cabin, Chingachgook were named after characters in the book The Last of the Mohicans. Although it's been restored, the property maintains a rustic feel because most of the furniture that is present is original. With all it's paired down furnishings and simple style Hawkeye cabin is modern, comfortable and relevant for any palette.
