This project is part of urban renewal of the old town of Manresa and has 44 units with commercial and parking. The irregular shape of the building plan adapts to the boundaries of the site, with a facade towards two existing streets with an open courtyard on the back. The units are designed to have cross ventilation. Speaking of ventilation, the architects took advantage of the differences in level between the street and the square by ventilating the facade by vertical slats of galvanized steel, to ventilate the parking area.
Furthermore, the building meets sustainable and eco-efficient criteria by using dry construction systems for internal distribution, usage of prefabricated panels on the facade with sun-shading by aluminium slats, and rainwater collection and gray water recycling.
