While the outside terrain is rugged, this small house uses wooden materials to both blend and contrast with its raw surroundings. Wood over time, patinas and the more it patinas to grey, the house will further blend in with the outside more naturally. The drama is created by the site itself where the house is situated on top of a hill overlooking the ocean.
