The redevelopment of the quay in a UNESCO world heritage site brought about the creation of a new landscape area, a beaching ramp, and a tourist area comprised of new buildings and walkways. Local materials such as wood and stone were used in the construction of the two buildings on site. The buildings are built on metal structure over reinforced concrete piles with generous walkways connecting the two buildings and tourist quay area that allows pedestrian to enjoy the landscape.
