The Green Box - Exterior/Landscape

The Green Box is a renovation of a garage sitting in the Raethian Alps. The decision to use rough and simple materials such as galvanized steel, steel wires, larch planks for flooring, unpainted galvanized steel for windows and pipes for water supply, was to find an ideal balance between a disused garage and a place when nature has taken over.
Naturally, landscaping and vegetation play a big role in the design process of the house, becoming part of the facade with only lightweight structural construction walls.
