Pyramid of Tirana - Exterior

Instead of demolishing the robust pyramid structure that had been in place since 1988, the team at MVRDV used the glass and concrete pyramid as a blueprint to add publicly-accessible spaces, including its stairs and colorful auxiliary buildings.
