For years of lasting strength and rugged treatment, the ShopTop® composite top sandwiches a medium-density fiberboard (MDF) or lumber core between two layers of .5" industrial grade particle board. Both core types offer superior screw- and rivet-holding characteristics. The top and bottom layers are seal coated with catalyzed clear lacquer finish to resist conventional spills. The non-conductive, splinter-proof benchtop is 30 percent harder than maple.
High-density particle board top and bottom benchtop with either medium density fiberboard (MDF) or lumber core standard with two coats catalyzed clear lacquer finish.
