French Country homes, sometimes called "French Provincial" style, are normally square and symmetrical. The design resembles a small manor home-with variations ranging from modest farmhouse to estate-like chateau. The exterior includes massive hipped roofs, with tall second floor windows that sometimes break through the roof cornice. Interior features include arched openings, beams and stone and iron accents. Matching doors incorporate arched elements, including a variety of top rail arch and flat arch door styles.
Why use Sun Mountain on your new home or remodeling project? Here are a few reasons:
MADE IN THE U.S.A.
Our products are made locally in our factory in Northern Colorado. This allows us to offer higher quality products using locally and regionally sourced lumber than most door, moulding and flooring dealers that only offer foreign imports.
FACTORY-DIRECT PRICING
When you purchase from Sun Mountain, you're purchasing direct from the manufacturer. Not only does this make your project go smoother since there are fewer channels for potential miscommunications, but you're also getting more for your moneyâ€"you don't pay additional markups of the importer, wholesaler, and distributor.
UNLIMITED CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS
Most dealers can only afford to stock only three or four different styles of product, and when you want something more unique or in an odd-size, you're either out of luck or you have to wait extra time for special order manufacturing and delivery. With Sun Mountain, you can choose from hundreds of style and wood species combinations, with products sized to fit your exact needs.
FAST LEAD TIMES
We use state-of-the-art equipment and a proprietary scheduling system to be able to offer unbelievable fast lead times on our custom products. Where other manufacturers are 8-12 weeks, we're typically 4-6 weeks (and we can usually accommodate rush needs). We also stock several of our most popular styles and sizes for ultra-fast delivery.
HIGH-QUALITY CONSTRUCTION
Unlike most imported doors, which use wood stave core material (or even worse, particle board) between surface veneers as thin as paper, our doors are manufactured with high-quality engineered LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) core sandwiched inside thick 1/8" slats. And our panels are always sold woodâ€"no plywood or waferboard sandwiched in between. Our solid flooring is always at least 3/4" thick, and our wide-plank engineered flooring uses an 11-ply, alternating-grain, exterior grade wood core for maximum strength and stability. The quality of our construction is unmatched anywhere.
UNLIMITED PREFINISHED OPTIONS
Because of our high quality coatings, equipment, and clean room for finishing, our prefinished products look better, perform better, and often actually cost less than jobsite finishes. And since we mix our own stains, we can custom color match to the other elements in your home, quickly and easily.
PRE-HUNG DOOR UNITS & TRIM DELIVERED DIRECT TO YOUR JOBSITE
Doors come complete with jambs, hinges, sills, sweeps, and weatherstrip, ready to be installed in your openings. Nothing could be quicker or easier.
