Skylight screens for domed skylights prevent a person from accidentally falling thru a roof skylight. The screens are made from a wire mesh grid measuring 4" x 4".
The screen material is .187 and .250 diameters 304 stainless steel or galvanized carbon steel wire. The screen is designed to rest on the roof to transfer a fall load to the roof. The screen is attached to the skylight frame with vinyl coated stainless steel straps mounted on the grid wire.
The straps are secured with ½" stainless steel hex head self-tapping screws. Skylight screens for domed skylights are designed and tested to comply with OSHA Standards 29 CFR 1910.23(a)(4) and 29 CFR 1910.23(e)(8).
