WD65 is the folding or paired-panel wood framed system for special applications designed to provide an opening glass wall with widths up to 43′ (13 m). A 2 5/8" thick solid wood framed, top-supported folding panel system, featuring monumental sized panels of up to 10' tall and widths up to 3′ 3" wide. This system design features many specialty configurations; FoldFlat, 90°-135° segmented units, some inward and some outward opening as well as unhinged paired panels option for unlimited spans and more functionality.
The natural beauty of wood stands out and is available in Sapeli Mahogany, Pine, and Meranti as standard. Other wood choices are also available. WD65 has a nominal, three-layer cross grained solid wood frame and panel thickness of 2 5/8" (66 mm). The unit has been tested by an independent lab for acoustical performance; STC 38 laminated glass achieved STC and Rw value of 36.
