CUB is a simple, classic, secure, mobile storage unit that reconnects employees to their work environment by giving them a private space to store personal office items. Adjustable shelving allows the individual to choose the layout that best fits their storage needs. Bluetooth enabled locks give employees the option to open CUB with their smart phone. CUBs unique wheel system with two unidirectional wheels at the back and two omnidirectional ball wheels at the front gives it incredible mobility. Employees have become much more temporary about there jobs, people work from home or spend most of their time in the field or on the road. They take there 401k's with them when they change jobs, Instead of job security value is now placed on increased pay and time off. Employees need to come and go as their jobs demand it. As such inner office storage has become an issue, people now need to carry their offices with them. This is where my design comes in; CUB is about reconnecting employees to there office space, providing private secure mobile storage that conforms to individual needs. Office Sharing is the latest trend affecting the modern work environment. Companies now dedicate an office to multiple employees or assign employees a work space when they need one. This allows businesses to reduce their square footage and their over head costs. CUB is about making office space personal again, giving people the space they need for what makes their occupation unique. I believe you could sell a lot of these because CUB promotes a healthy work environment that saves businesses money while boosting employee satisfaction and performance.
