Portsmith King Bed

Adapted from a design from his own home, Michael S Smith sees the Portsmith as a form suitable for almost any traditional interior - yet it also works well in a home with a modern bent. Extensive hand striping over a Coromandel Brown finish adds a touch of glamour. The high post version responds to the room that needs height or architecture. The upholstered headboard, however, allows the Portsmith comfort and integration into a color scheme. The long turned and tapered post is a sculptural treat. Block foot. Optional tester.
