The recent Christchurch earthquake has definitley put a lot of company's IT into trouble. Businesses have lost servers and backups, not to mention huge amounts of data which can't be replaced.
We also lost our computers, however all was well thanks to the cloud!
About 18 months ago we made the switch to in the cloud backups for our file servers. This meant all of our precious data was nice and safe, allowing us to access it straight away.
We also have all of our other internal systems based in the cloud. It just keeps everything so easy allowing us to focus on our core business.
