Now days buildings are continually striving for environmentally friendly buildings and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is one standard that can be used to measure the environmentally friendliness level.
Park Ventures in Thailand is a project that is using LEED to measure its sustainability and has been rated Gold. It is located on the corner of Witthayu Road and is suitably named the "The Ecoplex of Witthayu" as the building was built towards green architecture. Park Ventures was designed by P&T Group (Palmer and Turner) to imitate the shape of a lotus.
The initiatives by Park Ventures that contribute to its green architecture are its water system that can recycle (used) water for use in the surrounding garden, a light system that works together with natural light, a smart energy saving elevator system and low-E coating glass.
From the image of Park Ventures it looks like P&T Group used BIM software, which is great to see!
