I just drove past this great new building that has just been finished on Dominion Street in Auckland, New Zealand.
It has an all frameless glass facade, with a black tint. The glass panels are set at different angles which gives it a striking effect. The building has been designed by Patterson Architects in Auckland, which if my memory serves me right, use ArchiCAD as their BIM software of choice. I wonder how fully model it was and whether they used a BIM model to collaborate with the engineers. On buildings such as this with difficult structures at play a BIM model will definitely we'd up the process.
