The internet is changing and moving to a model based around people's real identities, where as previously it was made up of aliases (for example user names like; Matt456).



We think the move to people's real identity is important especially for business related applications where knowing about the person you are dealing with or downloading from is important.



To help with this move we've added a new verified badge and system to every BIMstop profile. The verification system currently uses 3 sources; Linkedin, Facebook and Email to verify each user. You can also see the information they have been verified against by hovering over a user's verified badge.



We plan to refine this system over time, but at this stage it is definitely a move in the right direction.
