Help Spec'ing Miele Appliances.

I'm looking at specifying Miele Appliances for the first time in a high residential project that I'm doing in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'd love to get feedback from other architects that have previously spec'd them, compared to other brands and whether your clients were happy?

I have used Miele many times in high end residential projects and have 5 Miele appliances in my own home. Work perfectly and never had problems.

Rock solid appliance. Will outlast any other by years. Their literature on installations, particularly the built-in custom panel refrigerators is a bit vague. Plus, if you were to want to hide the refrigerator with the other cabinets, you need to compensate for the larger reveals especially between the frig/freezer panels. Otherwise, they are straight forward and not unlike other manufacturer specs.

My experience with Miele Appliances on a few projects has been that they are of very high build quality and the clients have always been happy with them. Each of their products tends to have a very solid build.

Miele is one of the leading brands in the world. Their performance is just great. They care about design, clean finishes and superb functioning in any of their lines.
