I'm sorry. You cannot convert objects created in a recent version REVIT to an older version.
No one has been able to give us a definitive answer as to WHY! So the only thing you can do is update your version to a later version. You might check with AUTODESK and they might give you a discount to upgrade. The advantage is that the later versions are so much more feature rich that you will have a much better time with designing.
